Includes thorough downloadable PDFs with helpful information on assessment and management. Helpful flow charts throughout all PDFs. National Consensus Project in Palliative Care

A website dedicated to the National Consensus Project which started in 2002 in order to develop Clinical Practice Guidelines for quality palliative care. The NCP has a task force made up of four organizations including the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine, Center to Advance Palliative Care, Hospice and Palliative Nurses Association, and National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization. The website contains a 90 page document, created in 2007 and revised in 2009, on clinical practice guidelines which should be implemented to all facilities practicing palliative care.
